Beards are bad for you? We don't think so

Hello Beardy folk, and in recent news non lovers of beards. [caption id="attachment_1156" align="alignnone" width="300"]lovely beards writing a letter Us jotting this....[/caption]   Today we found an article on The Telegraph. In it they mention that beards are some what bad for me. This we found to be a tad over the top. In the piece, it mentions that a beard is a haven for bacteria. In some ways we accept that depending on the man who has the beard, and their own personal hygiene that this could happen. However, since we launch in late October we have had hundreds of Lovely Beards on our website, and Social Media channels. What was the common trend? ALL of them looked after their beard. Even in a recent infographic we shared, over 90% of men felt better about their own self as a result of having a beard. These men either started going to the gym more, found a new love interest or just feel more confident as a result. (Please feel free to go through our Beardy Folk posts if you don't believe us) We would like to throw our view out there and we reckon this is more of a scare tactic from razor blade manufacturers who have seen year low sales as a result of beards. (Reference) shave off your beard? We fully appreciate people not liking beards, but felt the pro's out way any cons. (Hat tip to Sam Rowe who did reply and even had a beard too - see here) What do you think?  You can contact us here or on Facebook, and Twitter LovelyBeards
